Abstract

        The current study aimed at identifies impacts of using mobile phones by kindergarten children on their mental and linguistic aspects, from the perspective of mothers at Zarqa governorate. Sample of the study comprised (135) mothers of children (5-6) years of age, from public and private kindergartens, who use mobiles. The method adapted was the survey descriptive one. To answer questions of the study, the researchers designed a questionnaire consisting mental and linguistic aspects, and was verified for validity and reliability. Results of the study revealed that the children’s use of mobile left negative and positive impacts on their mental and linguistic aspects. The results, also, showed that there were no differences for those impacts that might attributed to the number of hours of use.
