Abstract

Abstract:

     The aim of the research is to identify the productive thinking skills of primary school students, the research sample consisted of (400) male and female students of the sixth grade of primary school. A test was prepared to measure productive thinking skills, consisting of (30) paragraphs, including (15) objective  repetition and (15) essay paragraphs, with (3) paragraphs for each of the ten productive thinking skills, and the apparent validity and construction validity of the test were verified, and the alpha equation was used Crown Bach alpha to calculate stability,that amounted to (0.88).Usnig the appropriate statistical means,Led to concluded that the differences were not statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the arithmetic mean of the students' scores and the hypothetical average of the productive thinking skills test. In the light of these results, a set of recommendations and proposals were made, including linking mathematical concepts to practical and life applications, in which where idea is based on productive thinking. Familiarize students with experimenting with different methods of solving problems, will help them to avoid traditional thinking, and the need to conduct complementary research to the current research.
