Abstract

Abstract:

     To achieve the aim of the research, the following hypothesis was put forward:

There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group who studied technical terminology according to the thinking maps strategy based on integration, and the students of the control group who studied according to the traditional method.

  The researcher used the experimental method with two samples (experimental and control), and the research community consisted of students from the Department of Art Education / Al-Mustansiriya. The strategy of thinking maps based on integration, and the number is (20) male and female students, and the second division was taught according to the usual method, and the number is (21), and the researcher conducted the equivalence between the students of two groups. The other (41) students in the same college who are studying the same subject, in order to measure the duration of the answer to the test, the coefficient of ease and difficulty, the discriminatory powers of the paragraphs and the effectiveness of the alternatives, for each paragraph, and the test was corrected according to the results of the exploratory experiment.

  The researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (25) items of multiple choice type, and the validity of the test was confirmed by presenting it to a group of experts and ensuring the stability of the test using the (test and re-test) method, as well as calculating the (difficulty coefficient, discriminatory power, and the effectiveness of wrong alternatives). The researcher used the statistical program ((Spss) in analyzing the results, and the researcher obtained the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, and suggested conducting similar studies for this research in other branches and stages of study and with different variables.
