   The research aims to identify: Preparing an educational curriculum based on the Lursbach model for the learning cycle aimes at learning some grips and cognitive achievement in wrestling. He learns the effect of an educational curriculum based on learning cycle in learning and cognitive acquisition of wrestling for students

In light of the research objectives،the researcher reaches the following rejection. There is a positive effect between the pre and posttests of the research sample in learning some wrestling grips. The experimental method is used and the research sample is selected for the students of the second stage in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences،College of Basic Education Al-Mustansiriya University the results reveals the effectiveness of an educational curriculum based on the Lursbach model of the learning cycle has a positive effect on learning performance of wrestling.
