Abstract

Abstract:

The aim of the current research is to identify the cognitive style that tolerates ambiguity among the students of the kindergarten department according to the social status variable (married - unmarried) and the grade variable (first - fourth). By stratified random method from the two stages (first and fourth) Kindergarten Department (College of Basic Education - Al-Mustansiriya University)And a scale of tolerance - intolerance of ambiguity was adopted by (Ibrahim Abu Al-Atta Al-Wazir 2001). This scale consists of (16) items. In front of each item, alternatives are placed, ranging from (full agreement, great agreement, little agreement, little opposition, great opposition) and it has been verified. One of the psychometric properties of the scale (honesty and stability) and the research concluded that the kindergarten students have tolerance for ambiguity and that there are differences in favor of married women and that there are differences in favor of fourth-grade students
