Abstract

The study aimed to know the extent to which students of the second intermediate grade possess the skills of creative thinking, and to know the relationship of that to the gender of students, and to achieve that, the researchers adopted the descriptive approach, and the research sample consisted of (200) students and (100) students and (100) students from conservative schools Baghdad.

The researchers considered a measure of creative thinking that consisted of (30) items, validation and validity were verified, and then the researchers applied the scale to the research sample, and the results revealed that students of the second grade of middle school had creative thinking, and there were no statistically significant differences in the gender variable, and through the result The research The researchers reached the necessity of developing creative thinking among the second intermediate class students to reveal the concept of creativity and guide and care for them. The current, including about the relationship of creative thinking to other variables such as (achievement, motivation of achievement, acquisition of concepts).
