The effectiveness of the Gibbs model in the achievement of the fourth -grade literary students in the subject of history

The current research aims to know (the effectiveness of the Gibbs model in the achievement of the fourth -grade literary students in the subject of history ).
To verify the goal of the research, the researcher put the following zero hypothesis:
1-There is no statistically significant difference between the average degrees of students of the experimental group, which studies history subject in the Gibbes model and the average grades of students of the control group that studies the subject itself according to the traditional method of the post-achievement test .
The researcher chose an experimental design with two experimental hungry, and the other is controlled, and the searches of the current studay(experimental - control) were fulfilled in the following variables :
(Old age in months, previous year degrees, intelligence test)
The current research was limited to the fourth -grade literary students in the (Iraq Preparatory for Boys), which is one of the schools omits of Baghdad / the third Karkh Education Directorate, and two divisions were chosen from the fourth -grade literary people,rewrite represented the experimental group who studies the subject of history according to the Gibbes model, and the number of its students is (31) Students, and the second represented the control group who studies the same article in the traditional way, which numbered (31) students, and thus the number of members of the research sample reached (62) students, and the article included the first four chapters of the book of the history of the Arab Islamic civilization for the fourth literary grade to be taught in the academic year 2021-2022 .
To measure the level of students' achievement, the researcher prepared an achievement test with a component of a multiple choice type, which was presented to a group of experts and arbitrators. The researcher achieved his sincerity, stability, difficulty and discrimination, the achievement test is in its final form of (40) paragraphs : the results showed
1-The students of the experimental group who study history, according to the Gibbs model, outperformed the control group students who study history in the traditional way in the post-achievement test .
