Abstract:
research aims to identify:
- Decision making among students of psychological counseling and educational guidance departments.
- Identifying the differences in decision-making according to the variables of sex (males - females), and the educational stage (first - fourth).
For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the current research, the two researchers selected the research community from the students of the psychological counseling and educational guidance departments in the Iraqi universities, with three universities and five colleges and for both sexes. The results reached by the researchers are
1-There are significant differences between the mean scores of the sample and the hypothetical mean of the decision-making scale, and this difference is in favor of the arithmetic mean scores, ie the sample students of psychological counseling and educational guidance departments have to make a decision.
2-There are statistically significant differences for the gender variable (male, female) and the study stage (first, fourth) for the decision-making scale.
