Abstract

Abstract :

The current research aims to identifying the effect of brain storming  high school students at teaching Arabic grammar.

 To achieve the research aim, the following null hypotheses are formulated:

  • There is no statistical significant difference at (0.05) level between the mean scores of the experimental group students who study the Arabic grammar material by the brain storming strategy and the mean scores of the control group students who study the same material in the traditional way in the test of reasoning thinking.
  • There is no statistical significant difference at (0.05) level among the mean scores of the experimental group students who study the general geography material by the brain storming strategy in the two tests of pre- and post-reasoning thinking.

He also displayed a number of previous Arabic and foreign studies relevant to the research topic, which benefited the research in some He chose a design with partial adjustment for his research depending on the style of both equivalent groups; one was an experimental group and the other was a control group. Al-Ghazaliya High School for Boys in Baghdad Governorate/First Karkh   chosen to conduct the experiment. The individuals of research sample were (33) students chosen randomly from two section. Section (d) represents the experimental group mounted (35) students study the general geography by the strategy of brain storming, After (d) and (a).

  • There is a statistical significant difference at (0.05) level between the two research groups for the interest of experimental group.
  • There is a statistical significant difference at (0.05) level in the mean differences between the scores of pre and post-reasoning thinking tests within the experimental group for the interest of what here is no statistical significant difference at (0.05) level in the mean differences between the scores of pre and post-reasoning It is useful to issue a guide book for tutors and teachers affirming importance of modern teaching strategies, especially the brain storming, and explaining how to use these strategies in classroom situations.
  • Providing the curriculum books with thinking language and its strategies as well as ideal questions as to develop growth, deduction and conclusion skills among students.
