Abstract

 

Abstract:

The current research aims   At identifying organizational citizenship behavior and its relationship to manage the cognitive impression of kindergarten teachers, as the research sample included (300) kindergarten teachers from the Baghdad Rusafa Education Directorates (first, second, and third), and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers built a scale for ( Organizational Citizenship Behavior) based on (Jester Bernard) theory and (Cognitive Impression Management) scale based on Kaufman’s theory after reviewing the theories and previous studies on the subject of her research. Conscience awareness, civility, voluntary participation, sportsmanship and (49) items for the cognitive impression management scale distributed over five dimensions (self-enhancement, favor, representation, intimidation, begging), The following alternatives were adopted in the two scales (always apply to me, usually apply to me, sometimes apply to me, rarely apply to me, never apply to me) and the psychometric properties (apparent honesty, constructive honesty, retesting stability by, the alpha-Cro-Nbach equation) were verified. ) for the two scales, and the data was statistically processed through the use of the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) using the following statistical methods (Ka2) chi-square test and t-test for one sample, T-test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, Alpha Cro-Nbach equation for consistency internal test, simplified test,). The research found:-

 1-Kindergarten teachers have organizational citizenship behavior. Because it  calculates t-value of (20,283)and is greater than the tabular t-value of (1.96).

2- The kindergarten teachers have cognitive impression management, because the calculated t-value of (5,944) is greater than the tabular t-value of (1.96).

3-There is a correlation between organizational citizenship behavior and cognitive impression management among kindergarten teachers. As the value of the correlation coefficient between organizational citizenship behavior and cognitive impression management reached (0.630), the calculated T-value amounted to (14.00), which is greater than the tabular value of ( 1.96) at the significance level (0.05) and the degree of freedom (298).
