Abstract

 The current research aims to know the effect of thinking maps and the semantic map on achievement and visual thinking in the subject of natural geography among literary fifth graders.
      The current research was limited to students of public and junior high school day schools for boys in the city of Baghdad for the academic year 2017/2018, and the researcher relied on an experimental design with a partial adjustment (two experimental groups and the control group) with the post test, and the results showed the superiority of the students of the two experimental groups over the students of the control group In the achievement test and the visual thinking test, many conclusions, recommendations and proposals were reached.
