Methods of determining the degrees of cutting for tests of intelligence and mental capabilities

Abstract

  The current research aims to identify:

1- Determining the degree of severity of the tests of intelligence and mental capabilities represented by the test of convergent thinking, according to:

Geiger method .

Modified Ingov method .

Marginal groups method .

The researcher reached the following conclusions related to calculating the cutting grades below:

1- Geiger method: By applying the convergent thinking test to the research sample represented by university students, the degree of the calculated computation in this way was (49), where its coefficient of honesty (0.51), with a coefficient of stability (0.943), and a standard error of ( 0,743) .

2- The modified Ingov method: By applying the convergent thinking test to the research sample represented by university students, the degree of the calculated computation in this way was (39), where its validity coefficient (0.44), with a stability coefficient (0,788), and a standard error reached (3,369) .

3- The marginal group method: By applying the convergent thinking test to the research sample represented by the university students, the degree of the calculated computation in this way was (36), where its sincerity coefficient (0,37), with a coefficient of stability (0,770), and a standard error reached (3,508) .
