Positive academic feelings and their relationship to knowledge passion among university students

Abstract:
The current research aims at identifying:-
1-The level of positive academic feelings among university students
2- The differences in the positive academic feelings of university students according to the gender variable (males/females).
The level of academic passion among university students.3-
4-Differences in academic passion among university students according to the gender variable (male/female). and the variable of specialization (scientific – humanitarian)
5-The relationship between positive academic feelings and knowledge craving among university students.
The research was limited to students of the College of Basic Education, Al-Mustansiriyah University for the academic year (2023-2022). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built two scales, the first is positive academic feelings, and the number of its paragraphs in its final form reached (49) items with four components (enjoyment of tasks, pride, hope and satisfaction) no need to of each paragraph five alternatives after extracting the psychometric properties of it. Honesty, consistency, and the second measure of cognitive passion, which is in its final form of 30 items omit the two areas of harmonious passion and compulsive passion, omit in front of each paragraph there are five alternatives, omit after analyzing the paragraphs logically and statistically, and extracting the psychometric properties of it, it has validity and stability. ). The research concluded with the following results
1-University students have a good level of positive academic feelings
2-There are no differences in the academic feelings of university students between males and females, and according to the academic specialization (scientific and humanitarian)
3-The members of the research sample have a good level of cognitive craving
4-The absence of differences in the cognitive passion of university students between males and females omit according to the academic specialization (scientific – human).
5-There is a positive relationship between academic feelings and cognitive passion among university students
