Abstract:

The General Directorate of Education of Baghdad/Al-Rusafa   in a simple random way the researcher was chosen , Al-Intisar Preparatory School for Girls was chosen to implement the research, and by random assignment, Division (B) to be the experimental group who study with the systemic approach, numbering (43) female students, and Division (A) to be the control group who study The number of (42) students was taught in the traditional manner, and the topics were covered according to vocabulary for the first semester of the year (2023-2024). The researcher studied the two groups himself, and to measure the achievement test, the researcher adopted the achievement test prepared after ensuring its validity and reliability, which was applied at the end of the experiment, and the result was treated statistically using the T-test for two independent samples. The search result showed: *The female students of the experimental group who study chemistry using the systemic approach outperformed the female students of the control group who study the same subject in the traditional method in the achievement test.

In light of the research results, the researcher recommended the following

1- Emphasis on the use of modern teaching methods, especially the systemic approach in teaching chemistry, to raise the level of achievement among students.

2- The need for chemistry teachers to provide training courses to familiarize them with modern strategies, including the systemic approach.
